Broncos, Manning Open Season Vs. Big Ben
DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos are going prime time. A lot.
The NFL released the 2012 regular season schedule on Tuesday, and as expected the Broncos will be a regular feature in night games. Of the 16 regular season games, the Broncos will play 5 under the lights.
CBS4 will still air the majority of Broncos games in 2012 with 10 of the 16 contests.
The heavy dose of prime time games comes as no surprise after the Broncos pulled off the biggest free agent acquisition of the offseason by signing quarterback Peyton Manning. The 36-year-old is a marquee name in the NFL, and will be making a comeback of sorts with his new team in 2012 after missing all of last year with a neck injury.
