Boulder Police Search For Sexual Assault Suspect

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder are investigating an alleged sexual assault and are searching for the suspect.

The sexual assault happened at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of 9th Street in Boulder.

The victim told police she was walking home alone when she was grabbed from behind and attacked by an unknown man.

She said the man sexually assaulted her but the attacker ran away after she screamed and fought with him.

The victim ran to a home and asked for help. The resident at that home told police he had heard someone scream, which woke him up. He went outside to investigate and saw the victim outside the home and then called police.

The victim could not describe her attacker. The case remains under investigation.
