Boulder City Council To Discuss Short-Term Rentals
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A crackdown may be coming for people who rent out their homes on popular websites Airbnb and VRBO.
The Boulder City Council on Thursday evening considered some regulations that passed a first draft in June.
The draft limits short-term rentals to 30 days or less and owners have to live in the home at least 275 days a year.
It all started back in December when the city got surge in complaints about short-term rentals. They responded by sending approximately two dozen cease-and-desist letters to those property owners.
