Bond Won't Be Lowered For Man Accused Of Murdering Lakewood Lawyer
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A judge has denied lowering the bond for a man accused in the murder of a prominent Lakewood lawyer.
A cleaning crew found the body of Claudia Miller in her law office in March. CBS4 obtained court documents that show the suspect admitted to threatening Miller with a fake gun. He's also accused of assaulting her before strangling the 61-year-old to death.
On Tuesday a judge denied 52-year-old Warren Watson's request to get out of jail. He will remain in custody until his arraignment in August.
Watson became a person of interest when was seen on camera using Miller's credit cards in Idaho.
