Body Found In South Platte River May Have Been There For A While
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are investigating after a body was found in the South Platte River.
A crew recovered the body Sunday morning near the 900 block of South Platte River Drive.
The Denver Fire Department says it appears the body had been there for a while. It's not clear if the body is that of a man or a woman.
Sonny Jackson with Denver police said it won't be clear if the death is suspicious until an autopsy is performed.
