Body Found In Burned Building At Douglas County Residence
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - An investigation is underway in Douglas County after a body was found in a burning building Sunday.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office Deputies arrived at the scene in the 2900 block of Oakland Drive at approximately 2 a.m. Fire personnel were already on scene battling a fully engulfed structure fire.
The standalone structure was between the home and a barn on the property. An unidentified body was located inside this building.
Deputies were not able to make contact with anyone at the residence upon arrival, and the homeowner is still unaccounted for. The sheriff's office said there is no indication of criminal activity.
