Body Discovered In Water In Lakewood
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A body was discovered in the water at Main Reservoir in Lakewood on Saturday afternoon.
The dive team worked to recover the body in the water near Kipling Parkway at Florida Avenue in Lakewood.
The body was discovered under the dock about 2 p.m. by fishermen.
"I didn't really know what it was … it was kind of cloudy at that time. When the sun came out, went back to that spot … when the sun was hitting sure enough you could see it," said Cosme Baca, who found the body with Charlene Borrego.
"We were having fun and fishing and playing around, and just to think that somebody that whole time we were having fun that he was under there," Borrego said.
The identity of the deceased remains unconfirmed.
Detectives do not believe foul play was involved.
