Colorado Bobby G Award Winners Get Ready For Broadway Appearance
DENVER (CBS4)- Two students from Durango High School are getting ready to travel to New York to compete in the National High School Musical Awards after they were recognized during the Bobby G Awards.
The Bobby G Awards were handed out at the Denver Center for Performing Arts on Thursday where students from all Colorado walked the red carpet.
The awards recognize excellence in high school musicals.
The outstanding lead actor and actress are from Durango's production of Les Miserables. Emma Buchanan and Evatt Sallinger compete on Broadway on June 29.
