Low Water Levels A Concern At Blue Mesa Reservoir In Gunnison County
GUNNISON, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado's drought is taking its toll on several reservoirs across the state of Colorado. One striking example is at Blue Mesa Reservoir near Gunnison.
This week officials with Colorado Parks and Wildlife shared a photo of the low water levels in the reservoir, writing "It's time to pray for some snow."
The water level in the reservoir, which is one of the largest bodies of water in the state, is at its lowest point in 2 years.
