The Grizzly Rose is a 40,000 square foot restaurant and dance hall all in one. It's recognized by the Country Music Association as one of the top clubs in the country. The Rose offers big name concerts weekly. Live music plays six nights a week. Dance lessons are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Some of the lessons are free, others start at $3 a class. The dance floor is large, offering plenty of room for dancers to try out their new moves. On Thursdays ladies' nights are a popular attraction. Ladies drink free from 8 - 12 p.m. Sundays also bring a large crowd at the Grizzly Rose when all ages are welcome. Grizzly Rose patrons can connect with each other by signing up for the VIP club. It's a site put together to bring Grizzly Rose-goers together. Mechanical bull rides are waiting for all cow folk looking for a ride. The establishment is in north Denver just off I-25.

Yeehaw! The Stampede in Aurora offers six full bars, a grill and a large scale dance floor. Wednesday night is ladies night at the Stampede. Ladies drink free from 7 - 11 p.m. On Thursdays, the club offers a full night of west coast swing action. Patrons can bring a big appetite on Fridays. For a great deal, the Stampede offers a free all you can eat fajita buffet from 5 - 7 p.m. on Fridays and $2.50 wine, well and domestics. On Saturday nights, the club offers free drinks for ladies from 7 - 11 p.m. during "Miss Saturday Night." On Saturdays, ages 18 and up are welcome. The Stampede's balcony grill allows diners to enjoy all the dance action below during their meal. Visitors also can take their shot on the Stampede's mechanical bull. The Little Bear is a western saloon and restaurant right in the heart of Evergreen. Just walking through the doors of Little Bear is an experience. The Western saloon is covered with wall to wall with music memorabilia, graffiti and old license plates. Above the small stage for musicians, a collection of forgotten bras hang. The Little Bear doesn't offer a large dance floor, but does offer one of the most unique settings of all western venues. In addition to the lower level, there is also an upper balcony to watch performers. The restaurant provides a variety of American fair. On Tuesday nights, it's buffalo steak night. For $8 diners get a large shish kabob full of buffalo meat and vegetables. The meal is topped off by homemade bread and a side of mashed potatoes. But, if you want to get in on the deal, you'll want to come early as the supply is limited. While the Little Bear doesn't offer exclusively country music in its Western atmosphere, an online guide helps visitors identify the artists they would like to see. The Electric Cowboy in Westminster is a great club to visit if you want to stay on the north end of town. The club has a smaller dance floor than most, and it can get crowded at times. But it offers plenty of room to socialize off the floor, including room to play pool. The Electric Cowboy has weekly events and specials, so it's a good idea to check their website before heading out. The Electric Cowboy offers free cover for ladies on both Wednesday and Thursday nights. The drink specials provide a good option for men looking to save a buck while dancing the night away. On Thursdays, wines, wells and drafts are 75 cents until 11 p.m. On Sunday, a steak with all the fixings is $5.

The Cowboy Lounge is a country and rock bar in the heart of downtown Denver. It's the only bar offering country music in LoDo. Dancing Dave is the Cowboy Lounge's dance instructor. He gives lessons on Fridays and Saturdays to help keep the party going. Thursday night is ladies night at the lounge. Unlike some of the other country clubs, the Cowboy Lounge also offers an outdoor patio to enjoy.

In you're heading north, The Sundance Steakhouse and Saloon in Fort Collins is the place to go for country music and dancing. The steakhouse offers a wide array of dining options. On the last Friday of every month, the club also offers an all you can eat steak and crab legs dinner. Every Friday, Sundance provides an all you can eat "nut fest." Rocky Mountain Oysters and all the trimmings are $8.95. Wednesday night is dance night at Sundance. Both beginner and intermediate dance lessons are offered for $5. Couples dance lessons are also given on Wednesdays. Live Music performances are on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9 p.m. A unique feature of the Sundance is their free shuttle on both Saturday and Sunday nights. The shuttle will both pick patrons up and return them to Old Town. Other events throughout the year include mutton bustin, bull riding, beer pong tournaments and poker tournaments.
Each of the country venues has specific guidelines for what age groups are allowed in on what night. Before heading out, visit their websites to see if the night allows 21 and up, 18 and up, or all ages.
