Avs Hold Charity Brunch, Fashion Show To Benefit Kids
DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado Avalanche can't do anything right on the ice these days, but they had a great day off the ice on Sunday.
Avs better halves held their annual charity brunch and everyone had a blast. The players escort youngsters from The Children's Hospital as part of the fashion show. It's a great annual event and all the proceeds go to three charities including The Children's Hospital.
"It's good for us to just forget about hockey and for the kids to forget about reality and just come here and meet us and have fun with us," Avs captian Gabriel Landeskog said.
