Aurora Police Search For Shooter After Teen Girl Injured
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora are searching for a gunman after a teenager was shot while driving her car.
The shooting happened at about 8:40 p.m. Thursday on Peoria approaching Del Mar Circle.
The girl was rushed to a local hospital with at least one gunshot wound. Police said her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Police do not know the circumstance surrounding the shooting; whether she knew the shooter or if it was random.
Police are looking for a sedan that's brown-ish in color that sped away from the scene.
Some roads near the shooting were closed while police searched for the suspect vehicle.
