Aurora Police Investigate Car Crash & Fire
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora police are trying to piece together the events leading up to a crash and a car fire.
It happened in the 1100 block of Airport Road just before 7 a.m. on Sunday. A witness saw a car on fire. It was a vehicle police were already looking for. They'd gotten a report that a man and woman were fighting at a gas station near Colfax and Peoria.
Police believe the man sped away and then lost control of the car.
Police say both the driver and his female passenger were rushed to the hospital. Officers say the driver will be facing traffic violations and possibly other charges.
