Aurora Man Hit While Crossing Road Dies From Injuries

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4/AP) - Police say a pedestrian who was critically injured when he was hit by a vehicle while crossing a street in Aurora has died.

Lt. Jeff Turner says Steven Williams, 22, was hit by a Jeep at about 4:15 a.m. on Saturday near Aurora Hills Golf Course in an area with no crosswalks or traffic signals nearby. He died of his injuries at the hospital on Monday.

"The investigation is continuing and all indications point to Mr. Williams as being at fault in this accident. No charges are anticipated at this time," Turner said in a statement.
