Arson Investigation Underway After Overnight Fire At Asphalt Plant
(CBS4) - A fire at an asphalt plant in Adams County sent heavy smoke into the air above the northern part of the Denver metro area overnight. Crews found heavy fire at the bottom of a silo at Brannan Sand & Gravel Company near 58th Avenue and Lipan Street when they responded at midnight.
People who were working at the time were evacuated.
Arson investigators were on the scene on Wednesday morning after daybreak.
