Suspect Killed In Officer-Involved Shooting In Arvada
ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Arvada on Thursday night. The suspect was killed.
The shooting happened near the Wheat Ridge-Arvada line at West 49th Avenue and Kipling Street.
Police say that an armed robbery and kidnapping suspect was shot and killed at a gas station on Thursday after he allegedly showed a weapon during the attempted arrest.
The robbery at a Walmart and kidnapping of a woman happened on Wednesday night. The suspect has not been identified.
No Arvada police officers were hurt in the shooting.
