Water Main Break In Centennial Leads To Closure Of WB Arapahoe Road, Possibly For Days
CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) - Officials closed westbound Arapahoe Road in Centennial on Tuesday morning while crews work to fix a water main break. The road may be closed until Friday morning.
The problem happened early Tuesday morning at Holly. Willows Water owns the 12-inch pipe that broke early Tuesday. The company blames old pipes.
Crews with Arapahoe County are working to repair the break but it may take a few days.
The westbound lanes of East Arapahoe Road were closed at 8:25 a.m. between South Quebec Street and South Holly Street, according to a tweet from the City of Centennial.
