Angel Montoya Trial Goes To The Jury

DENVER (CBS4) - A jury will deliberate the fate of Angel Montoya on Monday.

Montoya is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Neveah Gallegos in 2007. The case went to the jury in Denver Thursday afternoon.

Neveah's mother, Miriam Gallegos, is already serving a 12-year sentence for covering up the crime.

The toddler's body was discovered in a drainage ditch three days after she died.
