Air Force Academy Marks Class Of 2013 Graduation

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Volunteer pilots are hoping to make the Air Force Academy's commencement ceremony memorable with a flyover.

About 1,025 cadets are graduating Wednesday.

The Air Force Thunderbirds' demonstration team typically streaks over the academy's commencement ceremonies, but the team canceled several performances this year, including Monday's Bolder Boulder, due to federal budget cuts. Privately owned aerial demonstration teams then said they would do the flyover this year.

Air Force Secretary Michael B. Donley is scheduled to address the cadets.
