72-Year-Old Woman Arrested In Connection With Sexual Assault
DENVER (CBS4) - Police have arrested a 72-year-old woman they say assisted a man in the kidnapping and sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl.
Police say Sylvia Luckett interfered with police when they were searching for Bret Lee Thompson.
Thompson was arrested in June for kidnapping a girl from a Denver alley. He's accused of assaulting the girl then dropping her off at a gas station. He was arrested in New Jersey after an 11-day man hunt.
Luckett was Thompson's foster mother. She will appear in court Monday.
