5-Hour Standoff In Aurora Ends Peacefully
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A 5-hour-long standoff in Aurora ended early Wednesday morning. The standoff ended peacefully with the suspect surrendering to police.
It started at the Sable Cove Apartments on South Dearborn Way around 7 p.m. Tuesday. A man, identified as Michael O'Neal, 25, was wanted on a nationwide felony arrest warrant barricaded himself inside an apartment.
Aurora SWAT responded to the scene. They tried to coax O'Neal out with a blow horn. O'Neal surrendered shortly after midnight and was taken to jail.
No other information about O'Neal has been released.
