5 Escape Fire After Passers-By Warn Residents
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- A father, his wife and three children are safe after two people driving by noticed a house on fire and got them out of the house.
Colorado Springs police said Thursday two people in a vehicle noticed smoke, turned around and saw flames coming from the roof.
Police said the two passers-by knocked on the door and the family was unaware of the fire.
