3 In Custody After Colorado Springs Home Invasion

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Three people have been taken into custody after a home invasion robbery left two elderly victims seriously injured.

Colorado Springs police say 20-year-old Darryl Lynch was taken into custody on Wednesday, along with two juveniles. All three suspects face charges of robbery, assault on an at-risk adult, burglary and theft.

Police say someone broke into the home on Oct. 28 and pistol-whipped the victims. Both victims have since been released from the hospital.
