2 Powerball Winners Win $2 Million In Colorado Springs Area
DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Lottery says that two separate Powerball tickets sold in the Colorado Springs area are worth $2 million each.
The Lottery announced the two winning tickets matched five numbers in the Wednesday drawing. They were sold at a 7-Eleven store in Fountain and at a Safeway store in Colorado Springs.
The double winnings come two months after a Rifle man won a $90 million Powerball prize, a state record.
Wednesday night's winning Powerball numbers were 1, 4, 18, 20, 45, and the Powerball number was 7. No tickets won the $60 million jackpot.
