2 Face Attempted Murder Charges After Ramming Security Guard's Car

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Two people are facing serious charges after a man rammed a security guard's car and then tried to take off. The guard shot at the car, hitting the woman inside.

Mitchell Lundstrom and Amber Angers are facing charges of criminal attempted second degree murder and vehicle theft.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened late Friday night at the Bear Valley Club Apartments at 3643 South Sheridan.

A guard pulled up where a woman was standing outside a car with a man sitting inside. Deputies said the woman got in the car after the guard approached them and questioned them.

The guard had parked his car blocking the vehicle. The driver then backed into the guard's vehicle and tried to take off. That's when the guard fired at the car, trying to stop the driver from driving away. He hit the woman inside.

She is expected to recover. The car was stolen with stolen license plates.
