2 CU Football Players Arrested After Fight
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Two players on the CU Buffaloes football team have been arrested after they got in a fight in Boulder over the weekend.
The incident happened early Sunday morning following Saturday night's win over Utah at Folsom Field.
Jaleel Awini, a wide receiver, was charged with suspicion of drug possession after he was allegedly found with cocaine after the fight.
Chris Hill, a tight end, faces a third degree assault charge. The Daily Camera reported he punched Awini outside the Walrus Saloon at the intersection of Walnut Street and 11th Street. The two had allegedly been ejected from the bar.
Both players are from Colorado and attended Colorado high schools. Hill attended Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch and and Awini attended Rangeview High School in Aurora.
