1 Dead In Crash Involving Semi, 2 Cars
DENVER (CBS4) - One person is dead after a three vehicle accident in Adams County Tuesday morning.
The crash happened when a semi hit two cars just east of 70th and Washington.
The semi then went over a guardrail and an embankment, flipping on its side and spilling fuel.
The driver of one of the cars, Christopher Goetzfried, 24, of Denver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi, Lisa Goodman, 58, of Fort Lupton was transported to Denver Health with serious injuries. The driver of the third car wasn't injured.
The intersection was closed for several hours as officers investigated this accident and crews clear the wreckage.
