Irving Police Seeking Third Capital Murder Suspect

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - A third person wanted for an April murder in Irving failed to turn himself in according to the Irving Police Department.
Police are asking for the public's help in locating Brandon Taylor, also known as Brandon Thomas, after he failed to turn himself in for arrest. He had previously cooperated with detectives but is now considered at large. A warrant of arrest has been issued for Brandon Taylor on a charge of Capital Murder. He stands 5' 10" and weighs 150lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
Police say on Monday, April 27, around 10:30 p.m. the officers responded to a shooting call in the 2800 block of Cheyenne Street. Officers learned that Darrin McMorris, 19 and Mayte Rangel, 18 were shot during an attempted robbery. McMorris died. Rangel recovered from a gunshot to the hand.
Investigators have identified Rashad Cox, 20, Nylon Hart, 19 and Brandon Taylor as the three suspects responsible for the attempted robbery and murder of Darrin McMorris.
Cox and Hart are currently in custody at the Dallas County Jail on a charge of Capital Murder.
