The incident happened just after 5 a.m. at Old Denton Road on PGBT in Carrollton, according to reports.
The incident, involving at least two vehicles, happened a little before 5 a.m. on SH 114 at Esters Boulevard.
Wes Melton was arrested in the 200 block of E. Las Colinas Blvd. at about 1 a.m. Saturday, June 21, police said.
