IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) — Irving police released the identity of the home invasion robbery suspect killed in an officer-involved shooting on Saturday.

Police said Colten Price Marcellus, 24, was killed by return fire after shooting at police officers early Saturday morning. The department said Marcellus and two other suspects ran from police when officers responded to a call about a home invasion robbery in the 700 block of Jeff Court around 1:40 a.m.

The other two suspects — 26-year-old Jaime Alexander Gutierrez and 26-year-old Obed Isau Zavala — were arrested. The search lasted about 5 1/2 hours.
