14-year-old dies after getting struck by car in The Colony, police say
THE COLONY (CBSNewsTexas.com) — A teenage pedestrian who was struck by a driver in The Colony Tuesday afternoon has died, police said.
The teen—identified as 14-year-old Adrien Villegas—was struck around 1:30 p.m. July 25 at the intersection of Main Street and Memorial Drive.
Police said he had been receiving treatment at Texas Health Presbyterian before succumbing to his injuries Thursday.
Villegas had been a student at Lakeview Middle School and was about to start The Colony High School this fall.
The Colony Police Department is investigating the collision. As of last update, no charges have been filed.
