Wednesday's Child:   Tayron

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --Tayron loves sports.

A diehard Eagles and Sixers fan, he catches up on all the scores using his specialized laptop, which he operates using his voice.

(Tayron:)  "I tell it to wake up."

Gloria Hochman, from the National Adoption Center, based in Philadelphia, says Tayron needs a forever family.

"Tayron is a 13-year-old who is bright and cheerful despite his very serious medical problems.  There's no question that a family who adopts him will enjoy having him in their life.  They need to encourage him socially, emotionally, and be committed to his medical needs," she tells Wednesday's Child.

Tayron's nurse, Beth Overmier, says Tayron has a zest for life and a love of people.

"He'll give back to you in so many ways," she says.  "He's very sensitive, caring, (and) reads other people's feelings very well."
