Weather: Cool, Damp, And Dreary... But Look Forward To The Weekend!
By Geoff Bansen
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Wednesday will be a cool, damp, dreary day.
Why are temperatures so chilly all of a sudden? A 'backdoor' front is now to the south of us, allowing an onshore flow to invade the Delaware Valley.
Highs on Wednesday will run 10-15° below average. There will be showers possible at any time during the day.
Thursday will be a carbon copy, again remaining unseasonably cool. A stronger system finally pushes east on Friday, bringing some heavier pockets of rain and a few thunderstorms, and lifting temperatures all the way back into the 70s.
It will also act as a bulldozer, clearing things out in time for the weekend - how does sunny skies and mid 60s sound?
