Weather: A Sunny Break, More Rain Ahead
By Geoff Bansen
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Rain has moved away, and sunny skies are here to stay, for the next few days that is.
In the wake of last night's cold front, it's going to be on the breezy side on Wednesday. Temperatures will remain mild, before eventually dropping off tonight and tomorrow. Lows tonight are expected to approach 50 in Philadelphia, falling into the 40s in outlying locations.
Thursday will be sunny, and cooler but close to average for this time of year. After that, the forecast looks a little murky.
Friday will be a generally cloudy day, with some showers possible as well. This new frontal boundary responsible will pack some moisture picked up all the way from the Pacific, where former tropical storm Simon moved ashore.
The chance of rain looks to become more likely through Saturday morning, eventually ending and leaving just cloudy skies.
Sunday will be the better outdoors day of the two, with intervals of clouds and sun. Both days will be on the cool side, with highs only topping out in the low to mid 60s.
