Watch: 2-Year Old Debates Eagles vs. Cowboys With Her Grandfather
By Ray Boyd
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- With Thanksgiving coming up this week, it's all about family. There is nothing more special than coming together with loved ones during the holiday.
However, on Thanksgiving, football rivalries that exist within families are often brought to the forefront when those teams happen to be facing one another. That circumstance came to light for a man and his 2-year old granddaughter who happen to split their allegiances between the Eagles and the Cowboys.
The result was a face-to-face showdown between Ava and her Poppi Jim.

Ava and her Poppi will clearly be rooting for different teams on Thursday.
Ava's father and Jim's son-in-law, Rich Brummett, provided some context to how this in-family stand off occurred. "There is a running joke in the family because my wife and I are Cowboys fans and of course Jim and the rest of my wife's family are Eagles fans."
Brummett added that his wife managed to teach her daughter to say "Go Cowboys," as a way to tease her parents. As the Eagles were getting set to face the Titans on Sunday, Jim let out a "Go Eagles," cry that was promptly followed by "Go Cowboys," from Ava.
The back and forth that ensued was nothing short of priceless.
Despite her early in life loyalty to the Cowboys, Ava's grandparents have not given up hope in converting her to becoming an Eagles fan. Let's all hope they eventually succeed in that mission.
