The tree reportedly crashed into the master bedroom.
"I was downstairs watching television in the living room on the couch, the next thing I heard and felt, I felt like an earthquake or a train was coming through the roof. The next thing I know here comes the tree down and the ceiling dropped down through," said the homeowner.
The homeowner tells CBS 3 Eyewitness News inspectors in the township have condemned the home.
PECO says they have shut off gas and electric to the home as a precaution, but no other homes in the area are affected.
No injuries were reported.
It's unclear what caused the tree to fall.
