Tractor-Trailer Overturns, Spills Debris On New Jersey Turnpike In Mercer County
HAMILTON Twp., N.J. (CBS) -- Police say a tractor-trailer carrying shingles overturned in the northbound inner lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike Monday afternoon.
Chopper 3 is over the scene of the crash just south of Exit 7A in Hamilton Township, Mercer County.
Authorities say the debris spilled into the southbound inner lanes.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
At this time, only one lane is getting by in the inner lanes of the north and southbound sides of the NJTP.
Officials say drivers should expect major delays and there will be lane restrictions for a few hours.
