Todd Zolecki: There's "No Indication," Amaro Will Be Out As GM
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Todd Zolecki of MLB.com chatted with Anthony Gargano and Rob Ellis on Tuesday to discuss the possibility of the Phillies dealing Cole Hamels in the offseason. Reports have surfaced linking Hamels to the Boston Red Sox.
In addition to the Red Sox, Hamels received interest from the L.A. Dodgers and from the Chicago Cubs who reportedly were the team that claimed Hamels off waivers.
"I think the Phillies are going to explore this in the offseason," Zolecki said of a possible Hamels trade. "I don't think they're going to trade him unless they're really confident and really impressed with what they're getting in return. It's not going to be a good prospect or two. It's going to have to be at least three solid prospects that can plug in some holes of need."

Zolecki also went on to discuss the job security of Philies General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr., the man who would currently be in charge of executing a blockbuster trade of Hamels.
"I have absolutely no indication that he's going to be replaced after this season," Zolecki said. "I really think he's going to be sticking around." Zolecki added that if he had to bet on it, Amaro will be back next season and there will be other changes throughout the Phillies' organization.
