The Snow Is Over
By Geoff Bansen
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The snow is just about over for the Delaware Valley, in what has been by far the most potent system of the winter for many places.
A general 3-6 inches fell, with slightly lower and higher spots. Roads were initially very treacherous, but are beginning to improve as we progress through the morning. The fact that Philadelphia schools are cancelled is helping by keeping less people off area roadways.
As the snow exits, clouds are giving way to some sunshine. The remainder of the week is looking mainly quiet, minus a chance for some flurries later Wednesday.
Now, I know it is Fat Tuesday, but don't break out the confetti just yet: Another blast of arctic air is coming later this week, and it could be record breaking - for the second time this week!
