Study: Americans Dealing With Election Stress
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After a long and contentious political season, many are happy it's Election Day.
According to the American Psychological Association, the election had a lot of Americans feeling stressed out.
Psychologists suggest if you're feeling stressed, read enough to stay informed, but do not binge on political news.
They also say to take some time for activities that recharge you.
While it's okay to have meaningful discusses about political ideas, they say try to avoid any arguments.
If you really want to be proactive today, get out and vote!
