PennDOT: Speed Limit Restored On Expressways In Philadelphia Region
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- PennDOT has lifted the speed limit restrictions early Wednesday morning that were in place on several expressways in the Philadelphia region.
Speed limits were reduced Tuesday to 45 mph on all interstates and several other routes in the region due to the winter storm.
PennDOT says all speeds are restored to their usual posted limits.
PennDOT says they are continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
In New Jersey, speed is restricted to 45 mph on the entire New Jersey Turnpike because of conditions.
