Some Herr's Potato Chips Recalled For Incorrect Gluten Label

NOTTINGHAM, Pa. (AP) — Certain bags of Herr's potato chips incorrectly labeled as gluten free are being recalled.

Herr Foods announced Wednesday that some of its 1.875-ounce bags of Sour Cream & Onion Potato Chips are improperly labeled gluten free on the front of the bag. However, they are labeled properly on the back of the pack by listing "Wheat" as an ingredient.

The chips were distributed nationwide and sold as individual bags. The code dates are from January 2, 2016 to January 30, 2016 with a UPC No. of 7260000061, and a product code of 122.

The bags are a green metallic color.
