New YouTube App for Kids

YouTube is launching a new app specifically for children called "YouTube Kids."

The free app will be available for download on February 23rd and will be separate from the main YouTube service.  It will feature eight options made up of choices from kids TV shows and other popular recommendations.

Oscars Get Social

Facebook has launched its "Trending Oscars" experience, a real-time live feed that lets users see posts from friends, nominees, news outlets, and other contacts, as well as special content from ABC and the Academy.

For the second year in a row, Instagram and Vanity Fair are partnering up for the Oscars. Mark Seliger will return as Vanity Fair's official Instagram photographer, capturing stills of famous guests throughout the night that will be uploaded to the mobile app.
