Several People Injured After SEPTA Bus Collides With Another Vehicle

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Several people were injured in a SEPTA bus accident that took place on Monday night in Philadelphia's Nicetown section.

The accident occurred at Germantown Avenue and Juniata Street. It took place around 8:30 p.m.

Officials say a route 23 bus was traveling on Germantown Avenue, near Juniata Avenue, when it collided with a passenger vehicle. Authorities say that there were several transports from the scene and SEPTA stated that seven people complained of injuries when crews arrived.

Emergency crews said that three people were taken to Einstein Hospital, one person was taken to Roxborough Hospital and one person was taken to Hahnemann Hospital. Officials say that all of their conditions are unknown.
