Retailer's 'Trophy' T-Shirt Draws Criticism For Demeaning Women
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A woman has started an online petition aimed at getting one retailer to stop selling a T-shirt that in her mind demeans and objectifies women. Her target is Target.
Target has received criticism online for selling a T-shirt that is aimed at its female customer base and that features the word "trophy," across the front.

Target has apologized for the shirt. "It is never our intention to offend anyone," Target said in a statement to CBS News. "These shirts are intended as a fun wink and we have received an overwhelmingly positive response from our guests."
The company says the shirt is a part of a collection of apparel that includes engagement and wedding themed attire.
