CLEVELAND, OH (CBS) -- The final day of the Republican National Convention, and it's off to quite a start for the Pennsylvania delegation, as the Republican vice presidential nominee, Mike Pence, stopped by for breakfast.
Indiana governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence shook hands and gave some hugs as he made his way through the crowd.
"I just wanted to stop by and tell you not only is it our objective to elect Donald Trump the 45th president of the United States of America, but we're going to win Pennsylvania when we do it."
Pennsylvania Republican party chairman Rob Gleason says the visit from the nominee shows just how much emphasis is on winning the Keystone state this November.
"The last Democrat to get elected without winning Pennsylvania was Harry Truman so this is going to be a colossal struggle."
