Presidential Campaigns Return To Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After a short lull, the Philadelphia area is back in the presidential campaign spotlight, with both major party candidates scheduled to visit in the next two days.
A slight shift in strategy has not diminished the importance of Pennsylvania to a winning strategy.
As polls show democrat Hillary Clinton's lead steadily climbing, her campaign manager Robby Mook announced earlier this week that spending would increase in states previously considered out of reach.
"In addition to our stepped-up efforts in Arizona, we are turning our attention to Indiana and Missouri," he said.
But Mook also announced additional spending in Pennsylvania.
It's still one of the key battleground states, and one of the few with no early voting, so that efforts here will impact every vote right up to election day.
Underscoring the importance of urban voting to winning Pennsylvania, Hillary Clinton, and her running mate Tim Kaine, will visit Philadelphia and Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Meanwhile, continuing to pursue his strategy of winning suburban and rural areas, Donald Trump will visit Johnstown and Bucks County on Friday.
His appearance at the Newtown Athletic Club is scheduled for 7:30.
