Pope Francis Receives Philly Style Welcome With Pope Pretzel
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A local store is welcoming Pope Francis in a unique way -- with a custom pretzel.
The Philly Pretzel Factory location in Langhorne, Bucks County created the custom pretzel for the Pope, welcoming him to Philadelphia.
"Our store is creative in making seasonal and original custom shaped pretzels and people really enjoy them. It seemed like a perfect way to give Pope Francis a Philadelphia style welcome!" said owners Shaun and Brian Kean.
Although the pope pretzel is not for sale, Philly Pretzel Factory says most franchises in the area will be selling pretzels in honor of Mary Undoer of Knots during the papal weekend.
