Police: Pa. Man Makes Preschool Threat On Facebook

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Police say a 19-year-old Pennsylvania man illegally threatened to kill preschool children even though he told investigators he didn't plan to carry out Facebook comments he made due to his dark sense of humor.

Cale Haer was charged Monday by Johnstown police with making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

Police say Haer was involved with a Facebook discussion and mentioned blowing up a preschool to emphasize his point.

Police say Haer wrote, "I'm 100 percent serious about blowing up a preschool. Just killing dozens of innocent little toddlers." Haer went on to write about having the children's screams "lull him to sleep" and dreaming "of little severed arms and legs flying through the air."

The Associated Press couldn't immediately locate a phone number for Haer, who didn't have an attorney listed in court records.
