Customer Turns Tables On Would-Be Robbers Inside Levittown Pizza Shop
LEVITTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- The attempted armed robbery of a pizza shop in Levittown, Bucks County turned deadly when a customer fought back.
Middletown Township Police investigating the violence that happened inside of Porfirio's Two, a pizza shop on Veteran Highway in Levittown.
Around 10 last night, police say two gunmen went in looking to rob the place.
Middletown Police Chief Joe Bartorilla says the pair ordered two workers and a customer to the ground, and they pistol whipped the customer until:
"That customer produced a handgun and shot both of the robbers."
One was shot in the chest and died, according to police, who say the other was shot in the shoulder and neck.
He's in serious condition at the hospital
No one else was hurt.
